Day 1

I'm Blake and I'm 16. I'm making this blog to contact outsiders,and my family.
So I'll tell you how this all started...  A couple days ago an infection broke out in an area not too far from chicago (where I live).  From what I heard it was like a zombie virus.  Making people go insane.  Making people thirsty for each others blood.  The area was quickly quarantined by the government.  But we were told the infection takes 12 or so hours before the symptoms to start showing and is spread by contact only.  I recently learned that my parents were in the quarantine zone and I haven't heard from them for a few days now.  So I'm alone...  I can't trust anyone...    my neighbors, my friends, not even law enforcement.  The quarantine zone is getting bigger by the day.  I also read that the infection has been spotted in other parts of the country like california and texas.  I've stocked up on supplies trying to figure out what to do next...
